This policy explains what information is used when you play Chaos Drift, a mobile game made by RivonTech ("we", "us"), an independent developer based in the United Kingdom. It applies to players in every country where the game is available. We built the game so that we don't collect personal information ourselves. The game does show ads, and the advertising partner described below processes some information to do that.
We do not collect personal information. Chaos Drift has no accounts or sign-in, and doesn't ask for your name, email, contacts, photos or precise location. We don't run our own servers or analytics that receive data from the game.
Your game progress stays on your phone and is never sent to us. That includes coins, vehicles you own, the vehicle you've selected, stars, best times, map choice and settings (sound, graphics, controls).
You can erase it any time with Settings → Game → Reset in the game, or by uninstalling the app or clearing its data in Android settings.
Chaos Drift is free and is supported by ads served by Google AdMob through the Google Mobile Ads SDK:
To serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google may collect and process the following from your device:
| Information | Used for |
|---|---|
| Advertising ID (Android's resettable ad identifier) | Showing ads, limiting how often you see the same ad, measuring results and, with your consent where required, personalising ads |
| IP address, which gives an approximate location (country or city level) | Choosing relevant ads, fraud and security protection |
| Device information (model, Android version, language, screen, network type) | Showing ads that fit your device |
| Ad interactions (ads shown, taps, rewarded ads completed) | Ad delivery, measurement and preventing invalid clicks |
| Diagnostics (ad loading performance and errors) | Keeping ads working |
Google processes this information under its own privacy policy. Learn more at policies.google.com/privacy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. It's sent over encrypted connections.
Chaos Drift is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you're a parent or guardian and think your child has provided personal information through the game, please contact us and we'll help remove it.
The game uses internet and network-state access to load ads, the advertising ID permission for ads as described above, and vibration for crash feedback (you can turn it off in Settings). It doesn't access your camera, microphone, contacts, files or precise location.
Chaos Drift is available worldwide. Depending on where you live, data protection laws give you rights over your personal information. These include the GDPR (EU/EEA), UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 (UK), Swiss data protection law, US state privacy laws (for example California's CCPA/CPRA), Brazil's LGPD, Canada's PIPEDA, and similar laws in other countries.
International transfers: Google may process advertising data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Google protects these transfers with safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
We don't hold any of your data. Progress on your device stays until you reset it or uninstall the game. For data processed by Google for advertising, see Google's policies linked above, or reset your advertising ID as described in section 4.
If the game changes how it handles information, we'll update this page and its effective date. Significant changes will also be noted in the game's store listing.
