This policy explains what information is used when you play Knockout!, a mobile game made by RivonTech ("we", "us"), an independent developer based in the United Kingdom. It applies to players in every country where the game is available. We built the game so that we don't collect personal information ourselves. The game shows ads and sells optional coin packs, and the partners described below process some information to do that.
We do not collect personal information. Knockout! has no accounts or sign-in, and doesn't ask for your name, email, contacts, photos or location. We don't run our own servers or analytics that receive data from the game.
Your game progress stays on your phone and is never sent to us. That includes coins, levels unlocked and completed, stars, the skins, hats, glasses, outfits, bling and gloves you own and wear, your control layout and settings (sound, music, vibration).
You can erase it any time by uninstalling the app or clearing its data in Android settings.
You can buy optional coin packs. Purchases are handled entirely by Google Play: you pay Google, and we never see your payment card or bank details, your name or your email address.
When you buy something, Google gives the game a receipt (the product bought, an order number and the time, signed by Google). The game checks that signature on your phone to make sure the purchase is genuine before adding the coins. The receipt isn't sent to us. Google shares sales reports with us (for example the product, price, country and order number) so we can handle refunds and accounting. How Google handles payment data is described in the Google Payments Privacy Notice.
Knockout! is free and is supported by ads served by Google AdMob through the Google Mobile Ads SDK:
To serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google may collect and process the following from your device:
| Information | Used for |
|---|---|
| Advertising ID (Android's resettable ad identifier) | Showing ads, limiting how often you see the same ad, measuring results and, with your consent where required, personalising ads |
| IP address, which gives an approximate location (country or city level) | Choosing relevant ads, fraud and security protection |
| Device information (model, Android version, language, screen, network type) | Showing ads that fit your device |
| Ad interactions (ads shown, taps, rewarded ads completed) | Ad delivery, measurement and preventing invalid clicks |
| Diagnostics (ad loading performance and errors) | Keeping ads working |
Google processes this information under its own privacy policy. Learn more at policies.google.com/privacy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. It's sent over encrypted connections.
Knockout! is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you're a parent or guardian and think your child has provided personal information through the game, please contact us and we'll help remove it. Parents can stop purchases by turning on purchase authentication in the Google Play Store app.
The game uses internet and network-state access to load ads and connect to Google Play, the advertising ID permission for ads as described above, the Google Play billing permission for purchases, and vibration for hit feedback (you can turn it off in Settings). It doesn't access your camera, microphone, contacts, files or location.
Knockout! is available worldwide. Depending on where you live, data protection laws give you rights over your personal information. These include the GDPR (EU/EEA), UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 (UK), Swiss data protection law, US state privacy laws (for example California's CCPA/CPRA), Brazil's LGPD, Canada's PIPEDA, and similar laws in other countries.
International transfers: Google may process advertising and purchase data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Google protects these transfers with safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
We don't hold any of your data. Progress on your device stays until you clear the app's data or uninstall the game. For data processed by Google for advertising and purchases, see Google's policies linked above, or reset your advertising ID as described in section 5.
If the game changes how it handles information, we'll update this page and its effective date. Significant changes will also be noted in the game's store listing.
